After 1.5 months - no delivery - dissapointment |
To whom it may concern,
I made my purchase order on the 24th June. Today, 26th July still I haven't received the purchased item. This is a 'One Way Voltage Converter 220/240V to 110/120V AC - 200 Watt'. My frustration is high due to the long delivery period and after waiting all this time no delivery at all.
I will claim the item following the Factsinfostuff mechanisms to do so but I am afraid that I will not be able to receive the purchase till end August.

Great Product At A Great Price! |

I took two of these convertors to South Korea and they worked great. I just plugged them into the 220/240 outlet and had my 110/120 volt power for my camera battery Ipod/Ipad charger, etc |

Perfect travel size voltage converter |

I purchased this transformer to be used in Pakistan for my camera, laptop, and 110 watt iPod dock. It worked for all of my items. I left my iPod dock plugged in all night to charge my iPod, and while listening to music. It worked perfectly, didn't get heated or make any sort of noise. It has a long European cord which made it easy for me to plug it in and put it on top of my table, unlike other converters where it sticks on the wall. My camera and laptop charger also worked fine. Its light weight, perfect for travel use, wouldn't travel without it. |

Be Careful with this Item - Buyer Beware! |

We traveled all over Israel and the power was 220 there. This converter did not work well with my appliances. I used it okay with battery chargers such as computer and camera but for hair dryer and curling iron, it is no good. In fact it ruined both of these right out of the box. The voltage did not change like it should have. THEN.. had to throw the converter away since it was no good (and very heavy) after it didn't work with the appliances. Having said that, I found that I didn't need it for charging my battery operated gadgets as the cords for these had voltage regulators on them (computer and camera). Turns out, I would have been better off to have saved my money and not bought the converter. Each place we stayed at had hair dryers to use anyway. Most places had them either in the bathrooms or at front desk to borrow. |

Perfect for my special use |

I did not use this travel voltage converter for its intended use, so I can't comment on its suitability compared to other products on the market. I needed a step down power transformer to use in an "industrial" application and it worked perfect for my application at a very low purchase price. I chose this unit for its attached power cord which lets you locate the transformer away from the wall outlet, a critical feature for me. I purchased three and they are all in use. The build quality is good and I've had no problems. |
